The Story of the Ringling Church

Built in 1914, the Ringling Church was home to the St. John's Catholic Congregation until the early 1980's. At this time it was sold to the lowest bidder and fully gutted and stripped down to the studs. It changed hands a few times over the years with efforts made to preserve the bell tower and renovate the parsonage in the rear of the building.

In 2021, a group of local partners and friends joined together to purchase the Historic Church and bring it back to life. Recognizing the historic value and community benefit of having an iconic wedding space, music venue, and gathering hall, the Ringling Commons owners are committed to preserving the building and opening it up to the community for public use.
